Sending Sparkle to Norway....

We are super excited to have had the privilege of working with Maren, a  beautiful bride from the fabulous country of Norway.

Maren and her husband Jansen sought us out for the exclusive 'All That  Glitter's' invitation line. They chose a gold and ivory theme, with a new style brooch, with old world vintage charm.

The invitation beautifully written in Norwegian, describes all the details of their wedding, including the date of their marriage (their reception came later), the location and the reception details.

Maren and Jansen - We wish you  a lifetime and love and happiness!!

The Roaring 20's - An inspired wedding theme

Glamour is back and making a big statement in the world of weddings! No era was more glamorous than that of the 20's; sequined dresses, feathers, rhinestone headpieces, pearls and fringe all make up the super glam style that has made a glitzy comeback in recent months.

To keep up with this going trend MBM has designed stationary inspired solely by the flapper era.

The first piece of this collection is of course the wedding invitation! Why not make a unique first impression on your guests with this Great Gatsby inspired stationary.

Every detail on this invitation screams roaring 20's! The invitation starts as a simple bi-fold folder. The front of this invitation is then given a lace wrap, black satin ribbon for some shine, followed by a shimmer monogram including the bride and grooms name!
To bring in the staple of the 20's, a rhinestone and pearl brooch and black feather are added, mimicking the look of a flapper's headpiece. The monogram is then adorned with additional rhinestones for added sparkle.

Making this invitation even more unique is the interior. A damask print background lines the inside, followed by the shimmer wording layer. The couple's names are front and center and put on a diagonal curve to add a bit of flare! To add a bit of cohesiveness, we added a diagonal pocket to the bottom, complete with the insert headings following that slanted line. The outer mailing envelope (above) is also written on a slant, bringing all aspects of the interior and exterior together.

To complete this stunning set are table menus and place cards. The place card boasts a smaller band of lace and thinner ribbon, to match the size of the card. It also includes a mini version of the invitation brooch and feather. The fonts mirror that used in the invitation, tying this stationary set together.

Lastly, is the table menu, pictured off to the right in the photo below. Again, the fonts match that of the place card and invitation, and the black satin ribbon, mini brooch and medium feather are added to mirror the invitation. The last piece of this puzzle is the monogram that overlays the ribbon, exactly as it does on the invitation. This menu can also be made into a table number.

For couples who are inspired by an era where the glamorous style became timeless, this is definitely the set for you!
